With Bonds and Ramirez on hand, Lewis was the guy who started the winning rally in the Giants' 5-4 victory over the Dodgers on Monday, the Giants' sixth win in seven games.

Bonds was talking with Jon Miller, the voice of the Giants, when Manny Ramirez singled home a run to give the Dodgers a 4-3 lead. Seconds before the hit, Bonds said, "I wish we got him over here in the Giants' organization because these people would be going crazy."

Lewis opened the eighth with a single, prompting a two-run rally. Rich Aurilia and pinch-hitter Bengie Molina hit run-scoring grounders to provide the tying and winning runs.

GIANTS 5, DODGERS 4: Barry Zito opened his start with six scoreless innings before Casey Blake hit a two-run homer in the seventh. Merkin Valdez replaced Zito in the inning, and the Dodgers scored four runs in the rally for a 4-3 lead. The Giants won it by scoring two runs in the eighth.
