--C Bengie Molina, in his blog, pleaded with fans to stick with the Giants. He wrote: "We need you there with us in good times and bad -- maybe even more so in the bad times. I hope to see you this weekend when we play the Diamondbacks. This is a great group of players, and an even better group of men. One thing I can promise: This team will never give up. I hope you won't either." --Manager Bruce Bochy turned 54 on Thursday. It's his third season with the Giants, and each year the team has opened 2-6. The team's losing streak reached six games on Bochy's birthday.
