Monday marked the 13th time this month he had multiple hits and the seventh time he had at least three hits. --RHP Matt Cain surrendered a home run to Yorvit Torrealba, the second straight game in which he surrendered a homer. It came after a streak of 13 straight homer-less starts.
--LF Fred Lewis batted second for the first time this season and went 2-for-4 with his 11th triple. He's hitting .367 (18-for-49) in his last 13 games.
--RHP Brian Wilson has saved 60.3 percent of the Giants' 58 wins this season. The majors' leader in saves, Angels RHP Francisco Rodriguez, has saved 63.2 percent of his team's wins -- 50 of 79. No other closer in the majors ranks above Wilson, who is 35-for-38 in save chances.
